A few weeks ago we went to the Electric Picnic festival. In a word, it was ACE. Oh my god. The music was incrediuble - Massive Attack, Bloc Party, Gary Numan (!), Pet Shop Boys, Damien Rice, The Frames, New Order, Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada, Michael Franti...oh god. It was like five Aussie festival line ups in one. It was orgasmic. We had a ball. Here are some photos.
Mon and Ant having a bevvie outside our tent. (oh how unusual!) Sure, it was rainy and muddy and cold but seeing as we were accidentally sold a 2 man tent rather than a 3 man, and didn't realise this til we put it up, it was more comfortable being outside the tent than inside.
We saw famous people!! This is mon seductively licking the shoulder of Sam Neill, and to her right you can see our celebrity stalker Jonathon Rhys Myers, who we see a lot. He is Irish. We also saw Chris Martin, who was looking mighty hot. And Damien Rice, whom mon and i may or may not have drunkenly harassed. Mon may or may not have yelled his name out and given him the 'come hither' finger, and we may or may not have then not had anything to say...so i may or may not have said "nice curatering" (he curated an entire stage for the 3 days...it was great). At least he thought it was funny. or maybe he was laughing AT us...nah.

The Turkish hat, our fourth member. It particularly liked Massive Attack (soooooo sexy!), New Order and Bloc Party and Damien Rice. It also enjoyed talking to randoms who were attracted to its excellence.
