Ha Long Bay. Just lovely! spent the night on a boat, and at 6pm on the dot the crazy drunk captain put on the music for the night - a mix of about 5 songs - including that shitty frog ring tone, but mainly near-pornographic crap pop and dance tracks - so incredibly loudly.

what was there to do but get drunk with a girl from Melbourne, a boy from Israel and a chick from Montana and play card games.

We got a bit roudy and were up pretty late and the boat staff all went to bed just a few seats up from us...we took the hint and decided we should also go to bed...after "just one more round"...when suddenly one of them got up and just turned all the lights off! so i followed pen towards our room, downstairs, and one moment she was at the top of the stairs and the next she was at the bottom. for a moment i was worried she was really hurt cos i couldnt hear anything but she was just in silent hysterics. so very funny. turns our she thought it was a spiral staircase so just took a step to the left and completely bypassed the whole set!
