Yesterday we went out to the Thmey Pagoda (also a killing field...) and met up with a monk there called Rathanna, and we taught for a couple of hours at his school. All the kids there are too poor for the state schools (which cost 300 Riel a day - less than 10 cents) and the monks also run a huge educational scheme about Aids in the rural areas, and deliver medicine and food to affected families.
This is Chris trying to explain the word "scientist" to a group of teenagers who don't speak much English at all.
We're going back in a couple of hours, it was heaps of fun. Am keen to apologise to the monk whose hand i tried to shake - completely forgetting they can't touch women! Ah he thought it was very funny.
There is also a one year old monkey there.
We've been riding bikes out of town the last few days, along the main roads to Angkor Wat and down "roads" that you'd normally need a 4wd for. Adventurous.

Oh fuckhead it just looks like the most thrilling experience. The pictures are phenomenal, the cultural difference must be amazing to take in and hello - you're doing it with a top bunch of people!
