HAPPY HOLI!!!

A few days after we got to Nepal the Holi festival started. From what we could tell this involves eveyrone taking a few days off and throwing paint at each other in the street. It also means bread is not delivered and some buses don't run. Though this could also have been attributed to the maoist strike.

Riding rickshaws through the middle of the Holi gauntlet was a lot of fun, especially when these kids stopped us and made us take photos of them! Holi is celebrated in India too and there are still come cows, goats and old men who haven't managed to get the dye off yet...
