We kick started the day at about 2pm with BYO drinks in Hyde Park. Triple J were doing the outside broadcast thing for Hottest 100. Yuko and mates were there for a bit but retired soon after we arrived. The little fag collected a lot of little flags and ordered me to pledge allegiance.
Soon we were jumping on a bus to Bondi. Spent the next 20 hours or so at Alex's (Ant's boy) apartment having a traditional Aussie Day bbq. The 100 was blaring, the tennis was on, the snags were cooking and I took some exceptional photos of the inside of my beer bottle. Pure beauty. \With the contents of a premixed Pims longneck and a bottle of vodka plus some others things in our bellies and lungs Tim and I took a romantic stroll along the beach before returning for some more party. Took some photos of Tim's impressive (and now renowned) calf muscles, and discovered that the most comfortable corduroy couch in the world actually isn't that comfortable when you're waking up every ten minutes to experience the transition from smashed to hungover with Tim's legs in your face and your own legs flailing over the back of the couch. 'Upside down, upside down!'.
